Since its introduction at Middlebury College in 2005, quidditch has become one of the fastest growing sports in college communities around the world. Based on the fantasy sport from JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series, quidditch is characterized by its fast pace, high contact, athleticism, and diversity. Quidditch operates to actively promote health, team-work, community, and positive sportsmanship on campus and in the greater quidditch community. Charlotte Quidditch participates in competitive regional play with teams from all over the Carolinas and the east coast.
